Gosht Saag Wala by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Brown onion 1/2 kg
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic 1-1/2 tsp
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Kasori methi 2 tsp
  • Spinach 1/2 kg
  • Green chilies 6
  • Tomato 1
  • Fenugreek leaves 2 bunches
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Mint leaves 10
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. First put spinach, green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, fenugreek leaves and tomato, cook lightly for 5 minutes and then blend.
  2. Now heat oil in pan and put fried onion and ginger garlic.
  3. Then add mutton, put chili powder, turmeric, coriander and salt and fry it.
  4. Then add yogurt, fry it, put 1 cup water, cover it and cook until lightly tender.
  5. Now put blended mixture, cover it again and cook it nicely.
  6. In end, add milk and kasori methi, fry it nicely and take it out.
