Ingredients:

  • Lady fingers 1/2 kg
  • Tamarind paste 1/2 cup
  • Oil as required
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Roast fennel seeds, coriander seeds, cumin and mustard seeds on tawa and grind finely.
  2. Now put this masala in a bowl, mix tamarind paste and make thick paste.
  3. Then wash lady fingers, dry it, mark cut and fill masala in it.
  4. After that heat 1/2 cup oil in pan, fry lady fingers lightly.
  5. Don't stir it continuously, when lady fingers is cooked, add salt in end and serve with hot chapati.
