Ingredients:
For Pakoray:
- Gram flour 1/2 kg
- Green chilies 2-3
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Crushed carom 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Baking powder 1/2 tsp
- Oil for fry
- Salt to taste
For Curry:
- Gram flour 1/2 cup
- Sour yogurt 1 to 1-1/2 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- White cumin 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1-1/2 tbsp
- Whole red chili 4-5
- Green chilies 2-3
- Curry leaves 10-12
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
Method:
- For pakoray: Now mix all ingredients except oil in water and make batter.
- Now heat oil in pan, fry pakoray, take it out and keep it aside.
- For gravy: First put sour yogurt in mixing bowl.
- Now add red chili powder, gram flour, salt and turmeric powder and mix it nicely.
- Then heat 1 tbsp oil and fry white cumin.
- Now add green chillies and ginger garlic paste and roast it.
- Then add yogurt mixture and stir it continuously until gravy is ready.
- Then add pakoray in gravy.
- Put remaining oil in pan, make bhagar of whole red chili and curry leaves, put on curry and serve.
