Piyazi Karelay by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:
- Karelay 1/2 kg
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Green chilies 3 sliced
- Onion 12 kg
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Khatai powder 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
- Fennel seeds 1 tsp
- Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
Method:
- Peel karelay and cut into slice.
- Now put salt and leave for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Then wash it nicely.
- How heat oil and fry karelay until light golden.
- Then take it out from oil.
- Now fry onion until light golden.
- Then put karelay with coriander seeds, fennel seeds, onion seeds, chili powder and salt in it.
- Together add yogurt and fry it nicely.
- Then leave karelay for simmer.
- In end, add sugar and take it out.
