Ingredients:

  • Poppy seeds 1/2 cup
  • Chopped onion 4
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 4
  • Chopped almonds 10
  • Lemons 2
  • Chopped coriander 1 bunch
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. First clean poppy seeds nicely and roast it.
  2. Now soak roasted poppy seeds for a while and grind with some water in blender.
  3. Then heat oil in pot and do chopped onion light pink.
  4. After that, add ginger garlic paste, red chili and turmeric, roast it lightly and put poppy seeds.
  5. After that, add salt, put finely chopped green chillies long pieces, again roast it lightly, put lemon juice, chopped almonds, black pepper and 1/2 bunch finely chopped green coriander and keep on simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. In end put 1/2 bunch finely chopped green coriander.
  7. Delicious khashkhash ka salan is ready.
