Ingredients:
- Poppy seeds 1/2 cup
- Chopped onion 4
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Red chili 1 tbsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Green chilies 4
- Chopped almonds 10
- Lemons 2
- Chopped coriander 1 bunch
- Salt to taste
- Oil 1/2 cup
Method:
- First clean poppy seeds nicely and roast it.
- Now soak roasted poppy seeds for a while and grind with some water in blender.
- Then heat oil in pot and do chopped onion light pink.
- After that, add ginger garlic paste, red chili and turmeric, roast it lightly and put poppy seeds.
- After that, add salt, put finely chopped green chillies long pieces, again roast it lightly, put lemon juice, chopped almonds, black pepper and 1/2 bunch finely chopped green coriander and keep on simmer for 5 minutes.
- In end put 1/2 bunch finely chopped green coriander.
- Delicious khashkhash ka salan is ready.
