Singaporean Rice by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Chicken strips 500 gm
  • Rice 300 gm
  • Carrot in stripes 1
  • Capsicum stripes 2
  • Chinese salt 1 pinch
  • Sliced mushroom 1/2 cup
  • Chopped garlic 4-5 cloves
  • Green onion 1-2 sticks
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Sesame oil 1 tsp
  • Chicken powder 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 4 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Clean rice, wash it and soak for 2 hours.
  2. Now boil it 2/4, strain it and keep it aside.
  3. Now cut mushroom into slices.
  4. Then cut capsicum, carrot and chicken into stripes.
  5. Together chop garlic cloves.
  6. After that heat oil and roast chicken and garlic nicely.
  7. After that, put mushroom, capsicum, carrot, soya sauce, black pepper, chicken powder, salt and Chinese salt and cook it nicely.
  8. Now add rice in it, put sesame oil in top and keep on simmer on low flame.
  9. When simmer is completed, take out in serving platter, garnish with green onion and serve.
