Delhi Style Aloo Gosht by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Potatoes 250 gm
  • Cumin grinded 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt whipped 1 cup
  • Brown onion 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper 10
  • Black cumin 1/4 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Black cardamom 1
  • Cloves 4
  • Ginger julienne 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, put cumin grinded, chili powder, salt, coriander powder, black pepper, black cumin, all spice, black cardamom and cloves with 1/2 cup water and fry it nicely.
  2. Now add mutton and fry it.
  3. Then put big big pieces of potatoes and stir it in spots.
  4. When mutton and potatoes are tendered, then put 1 cup water for gravy.
  5. In end, add ginger julienne and keep on simmer.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle all garam masala and coriander leaves.
