Khata Daal Gosht by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:
- Mutton 1/2 kg
- Red lentil 250 gm
- Yellow lentil 100 gm
- Spinach 150 gm
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Onion 2
- Green chilies 5-6
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- All spice powder 1 tbsp
- Mustard seed 1 tsp
- Whole cumin 1 tsp
- Whole red chili 4-5
- Curry leaves 2 sticks
- Tamarind paste 4 tbsp
- Butter 4 tbsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- For daal: Heat oil in pan and fry onion and ginger garlic paste.
- Then put mutton and roast it.
- Add water as required, tender it and keep it aside.
- Then put red lentil and yellow lentil in pot.
- Now put red chili powder, all spice powder, salt, garlic paste and some water and leave for cook.
- Now put butter in pan, put finely chopped spinach and saute it nicely.
- Then add in lentils and cook for 20-25 minutes.
- Now stir khota with hands, after that, add green chilies and tamarind paste, mix it nicely, add mutton and cover it for 5 minutes.
- In end, take out in serving dish.
- For bhagar: Heat butter and oil in pan, put mustard seed, whole cumin and curry leaves and make bhagar.
- Then put on daal and serve.
