Chicken Chutney by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 kg or 16 pieces
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Cloves 4-6
- Onion 1 cup
- Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
- Tomatoes 3
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- All spice 1/2 tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Tamarind pulp 1/4 cup
- Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
- Green chilies 2 chopped
Method:
- First heat oil and put onion and clove.
- When light golden, add ginger garlic paste, salt, crushed red pepper and finely chopped tomatoes and fry it nicely until tomato is tendered and oil comes up.
- Then put boiled chicken with remaining stock.
- Now put sugar, 1 pinch orange color, in end put tamarind pulp, cover it and leave on simmer for 10 minutes.
- In end, add coriander leaves and chopped green chilies.
