Spicy Chicken Rice by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Rice 1-1/2 cups
- Chicken 1/2 kg
- Chicken stock 1 cup
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Sliced onion 1 cup
- Green chilies 1 tbsp
- Cloves 8-10
- Cardamom 2
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Eggs 4
- Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil.
- Add in the sliced onion, let saute.
- Add green chilies, cloves, cardamoms, red chili powder, turmeric, salt, let saute, add chicken stock and then the chicken and let cook till done.
- When very little water remains and chicken is fully cooked, add the rice.
- Let cook on low flame till done.
- Fluff up rice with a fork and serve garnished with chopped coriander leaves and wedges of boiled eggs.
