Imli Ki Meethi Chutney by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Tamarind 100 gm
  • Jaggery 100 gm
  • Chopped white cumin 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder as required
  • Black salt as required
  • Raisins as required
  • Chopped date as required
  • Cantaloupe seed as required

Method:

  1. Soak tamarind in water for 3 hours.
  2. Then crush tamarind with hand in this water and take out pulp.
  3. How heat tamarind pulp in sauce pan, add jaggery, chopped white cumin, red chili powder and salt and cook until jaggery and water becomes one.
  4. When mixture becomes thick, put in bowl.
  5. Then mix raisins, chopped date and cantaloupe.
  6. In end, when chill, fill imli ki chutney in bottle and keep in fridge.
