Fish Mustard Burger by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

For Burger Dough:

  • White flour 700 gm
  • Yeast 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste

For Filling:

  • Boneless fish 1/2 kg
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • White flour 1 cup
  • Eggs 3-4
  • Bread crumbs 1 cup
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

For Burger:

  • Mustard paste 1/2 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup
  • Salad leaves 2-3
  • Olives/Mushrooms 1/2 cup
  • Cucumber 1

Method:

  1. For dough: Heat water, add sugar and yeast, mix it nicely and leave for 15 minutes.
  2. Add salt, eggs, butter, baking powder and yeast in white flour, knead it nicely and leave for 3-4 hours.
  3. Then take out dough and fold with hands, give different shape, bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 15-18 minutes, take it out and keep it aside.
  4. For making fish: Marinate fish slices with ginger garlic paste, white pepper, black pepper and salt.
  5. Now coat with white flour. Then dip in eggs and coat with bread crumbs.
  6. After that, heat oil in pan, fry it, take it out and keep it aside.
  7. For making burger: Cut burger from center and spread mustard paste first.
  8. Then put fish slice, salad leaves and cucumber in center.
  9. In end put olives or mushrooms and mozzarella cheese, bake it, take it out and serve.
