Ingredients:

  • Unsalted butter 8 oz
  • Icing sugar 1-1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Eggs 4
  • Semolina 4 cups
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Baking soda 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 2 cups
  • Blanched split almonds 20

For Syrup:

  • Water 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Honey 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Beat unsalted butter and icing sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Now put eggs 1 by 1 and beat it nicely.
  3. Now add baking powder and baking soda with vanilla essence and strained semolina.
  4. Now put yogurt and mix it.
  5. Now grease 12x12 inch square with butter.
  6. Now put mixture.
  7. Then put almonds like this when cake is cut almonds can be seen.
  8. Now bake it on 180 degrees C for 40 minutes.
  9. Then take it out and chill it.
  10. Now put hot mixture on cake.
  11. When syrup is absorbed, cut in shape of diamond and square.
