Ingredients:
- Unsalted butter 8 oz
- Icing sugar 1-1/2 cup
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Eggs 4
- Semolina 4 cups
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Baking soda 1 tsp
- Yogurt 2 cups
- Blanched split almonds 20
For Syrup:
- Water 1 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Honey 1 cup
- Lemon juice 1/4 cup
Method:
- Beat unsalted butter and icing sugar until light and fluffy.
- Now put eggs 1 by 1 and beat it nicely.
- Now add baking powder and baking soda with vanilla essence and strained semolina.
- Now put yogurt and mix it.
- Now grease 12x12 inch square with butter.
- Now put mixture.
- Then put almonds like this when cake is cut almonds can be seen.
- Now bake it on 180 degrees C for 40 minutes.
- Then take it out and chill it.
- Now put hot mixture on cake.
- When syrup is absorbed, cut in shape of diamond and square.
