Indian Chili Chicken by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg or 16 pieces
  • Chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Water 2 cups
  • Capsicum 2
  • Onion 2
  • Ketchup 1/2 cup
  • Chili sauce 2 tbsp

For Tomato Puree:

  • Chopped onion 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Green chilies 2
  • Chopped tomatoes 2
  • Orange color pinch

Method:

  1. For tomato puree: Heat oil and fry chopped onion and green chilies until light golden.
  2. Now put chopped tomatoes, fry for 5 minutes and take out.
  3. Then chill it, blend with orange color and keep it aside/
  4. For chili chicken: Heat oil, put onion and capsicum and fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Now add blended tomato sauce, ketchup and chili sauce and fry for 2 minutes.
  6. Then put boiled chicken and cook on low flame until chicken tender and oil comes up.
  7. For boil chicken: Boil chicken with 2 cup water, chili powder, salt and ginger garlic paste until it becomes ready.
