Chicken In Saffron Sauce by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:
- Chicken breast 2
- Onion paste 1 cup
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Butter 50 gm
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- Black peppercorn 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Cardamom 4
- Red chili 1-1/2 tsp
- Almonds 6
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Saffron or Saffron essence 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Now divide chicken breast into 2 portions, put 2 cup water and salt and boil it.
- When chicken is tendered well, then close stove.
- After that, heat butter and put oil.
- Then add onion paste.
- Now put yogurt, ginger garlic, black peppercorn, cumin seeds, red chili, cardamom, turmeric, lemon juice, salt and saffron or saffron essence and mix it nicely.
- Then add in fried onion and roast it.
- After that, put 1 cup water.
- When sauce becomes thick, add boiled chicken and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
- In end, put lemon juice and close stove.
- Chicken in saffron sauce is ready.
