Ingredients:

  • Beef boneless 1 kg
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Onion 2 sliced
  • Haleem wheat 1/2 kg
  • Barley 1-1/2 cup
  • Gram lentil 1-1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Chili powder 3 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 3 tbsp
  • Salt 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tbsp
  • Cumin roasted and crushed 2 tbsp
  • All spice 2 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1/4 cup
  • Mint leaves 20
  • Green chilies 4
  • Chat masala 1 tsp
  • Lemon 2
  • Brown onion 1/2 cup
  • Ghee 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Soak wheat, barley and gram lentil overnight separate separate.
  2. Next morning, cook wheat and barley with 10 cup water until tender.
  3. After that, boil gram lentil in 6 cup water until tender.
  4. Then cool them and blend it.
  5. Now heat oil in frying pan, put onion and fry onion until light golden.
  6. Then put ginger garlic paste, chili powder, coriander powder, salt, turmeric and cumin, cover it and cook it.
  7. After that, put 4-6 cup water, cover it and cook more until tender.
  8. Then grind beef boneless with hand grinder.
  9. Now mix blended meat with wheat and gram lentil and mash it.
  10. Then put some water in pan, cook it and strangulate it.
  11. After that, add all spice and chat masala, strangulate more and cook more for 30 minutes.
  12. For making bhagar: Heat ghee in one frying pan, put onion slice, fry it until light golden.
  13. Take out haleem in serving bowl, put bhagar.
  14. Now serve with chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, ginger slice and lemons.
