Ingredients:

  • Gram flour 2 cups
  • Small cardamom 8
  • Raisins 10
  • Fresh milk 1 cup
  • Semolina 2 cups
  • Sugar 3 cups
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Chopped almonds, pistachio as required

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in pot and put small cardamom.
  2. When fragrance comes, add semolina and gram flour, roast it nicely and take out.
  3. Now put sugar and water in pot, cook for 5 minutes, before making syrup, add semolina and gram flour and roast it again.
  4. When both ingredients becomes one, then put raisins.
  5. In end, add milk and stir it fast so that halwa rises.
  6. Grease one thali, spread halwa and sprinkle chopped almonds and pistachio on top.
  7. When cool, cut into pieces and serve.
