Tomato Ka Kutt by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Tomatoes 1 kg
- Tamarind water 1/3 cup
- Water 2 cups
- Garlic 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds (dry roasted and grinded) 1 tsp
- Bengal gram (dry roasted and grinded) 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder 2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
- Eggs 3
- Salt to taste
- Curry leaves as required
For Bhagar:
- Onion (small) 1
- Curry leaves as required
- Mustard seeds as required
- Chopped garlic as required
- Cumin seeds as required
- Red chilli as required
Method:
- Clean the tomatoes thoroughly.
- Cut them in four pieces and put them on the stove.
- Include 2 cups of water, tamarind water and salt and let it cook for ten to fifteen minutes.
- After it has been cooked and the tomatoes have become soft sieve the pulp by squeezing all the water from it.
- In the water left behind add one tbsp garlic, cumin, some curry leaves, dry roasted Bengal gram powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and coriander powder.
- Let it cook for five minutes.
- Fry three boiled eggs and add them in the kutt.
- Bhagar with onion, curry leaves, mustard seeds, garlic, cumin seeds, and red chilli.
