Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Boiled green gram lentil 1 cup
  • Boiled red lentils 1/2 cup
  • Dried plum 200 gm
  • Crushed cumin 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 2 tsp
  • Fried onions 1
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Water 2 cup
  • Green chilies 4
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch

For Tarka:

  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Cumin 2 tsp
  • Curry leaves 10

Method:

  1. First wash chicken, put dried plum, crushed cumin, ginger garlic, turmeric, red chili flakes, fried onion, salt and water and cook on low flame.
  2. When chicken tender, add boiled green gram lentil, boiled red lentils and 1 cup water and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  3. Now put green chilies and green coriander.
  4. After that, heat oil, put chopped ginger, cumin and curry leaves, fry it and give tarka.
