Ingredients:

Cake Ingredients:

  • Eggs 6
  • Flour 6 ounces
  • Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  • Caster sugar 6 ounces
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Yellow food color as required
  • Red food color as required
  • Green food color as required
  • Blue food color as required
  • Purple food color as required
  • Orange food color as required

For Icing:

  • Whipped cream as required
  • Various food colors as required
  • Sprinkles as required

Method:

  1. Preheat oven at 180 degrees centigrade.
  2. Sieve flour and baking powder in a bowl.
  3. Separate the egg whites and beat the whites until fluffy.
  4. Add 6 ounces caster sugar and beat for 5 minutes.
  5. Now add the egg yolks and beat well.
  6. Later add 1-tablespoon vanilla essence and beat again.
  7. Add sieved flour and baking powder in the batter and fold well
  8. Divide the batter in six equal parts in separate bowls.
  9. Mix yellow food color in one bowl, red food color in other bowl.
  10. After completing this process, there are six colored batters.
  11. Now, one by one, layer each colored batter in a baking tin bake it for 20 minutes at 180-degree centigrade.
  12. For icing: Whip the cream and add in the various food colors. Ice the cake and decorate it with sprinkles.
