Garlic Chicken Dum by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
  • Garlic 1 bunch
  • Butter 50 gm
  • Papaya 1 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper 2 tsp
  • Green chili paste 2 tsp
  • Star anise 2
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon 1 stick
  • Cloves 2
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Coal 1
  • Chopped onions 2
  • Oil 3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat butter, fry garlic and take out in one pan.
  2. Now put yogurt, papaya, crushed black pepper, star anise, turmeric, cinnamon, cloves and salt in garlic, mix it, paste on chicken and leave for 30 minutes.
  3. Now heat oil and fry chopped onions.
  4. When golden brown, put masala chicken and keep on simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. When chicken is nicely tendered, roast it and give smoke of coal.
  6. Garlic chicken dum is ready.
