Tandoori Anday Aur Zafran Ka Halwa by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Milk 2 cups
  • Eggs 5
  • Powdered milk 1/2 cup
  • Butter 4 oz
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Yellow color pinch
  • Almonds blanched 1/2 cup
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Boiling water 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat 1 cup milk, put sugar and cook until sugar dissolves.
  2. Blend remaining 1 cup milk with blanched almonds and mix in eggs, boiling water, powdered milk, butter, saffron and yellow color.
  3. Then put mixture in one tray.
  4. Sprinkle almonds and pistachios on top and bake in oven on 180 degrees C for 30 minutes until light golden.
  5. In end, serve hot or cool.
