Puff Pastry Pizza by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry 500 grams
  • All purpose flour 300 grams
  • Yeast 1 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder 2 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Butter 1/2 cup

For Sauce:

  • Tomatoes 2
  • Onion 1
  • Garlic cloves 4-5
  • Tomatoes paste 1/2 cup
  • Vinegar 2-3 tbsp
  • Black pepper chopped 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Paprika 1 tsp
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Topping:

  • Boiled chicken 200 grams
  • Beef sausages 4-5
  • Capsicum slice 1-2
  • Tomato slice 1-2
  • Olives slice 1-2 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese shredded 300 grams
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Oregano to taste

Method:

  1. For dough: Add sugar and yeast in lukewarm water, mix it and leave it.
  2. When it rises, add flour, salt, butter, egg and baking powder, knead soft dough, roll with plastic and leave for 3-4 hours.
  3. Then take it out and fold it.
  4. Grease baking tray with butter and set dough.
  5. Now bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 2-3 minutes, take it out and keep it aside.
  6. For sauce: Add tomato, garlic cloves, onion and tomato paste in blender and blend it.
  7. Then put olive oil in sauce pan, heat it, add sauce and roast it.
  8. Now add oregano, paprika, vinegar, chopped black pepper and salt and roast it nicely.
  9. When sauce is thick, remove it.
  10. For topping: Spread sauce on pizza dough.
  11. Then put boiled chicken, beef sausages, tomato slice and capsicum slice.
  12. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and put oregano and olives.
  13. Roll puff pastry dough and set on pizza dough.
  14. Now bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 10-12 minutes, take out and serve.
