Ingredients:

  • Yellow lentil 1/2 kg
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 4
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Coconut powder 4 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Garlic 3-4 cloves
  • Red chili 2 tsp
  • Boiled goan beans 6
  • Boiled rice to serve

For Bhagar:

  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Chopped garlic 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 4
  • Ghee or Oil 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Wash yellow lentil and cook with 2 glass water, turmeric, salt on low flame.
  2. Now put coconut powder, onion, cumin, garlic cloves, red chili and water in blender and blend it.
  3. Then put grinded masala and tomatoes and cook nicely.
  4. Now put water as required and do lentil thin.
  5. Then put boiled goan beans, green chilies and green coriander and close stove.
  6. For bhagar: Heat oil and put mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves and chopped garlic.
  7. When fragrance comes, give tarka to lentil and serve with boiled rice.
