Achari Hara Masala Gosht by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp

For Bhagar:

  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch

For Onion Paste:

  • Onion 2 large
  • Coriander leaves half cup
  • Green chilies 10
  • Ginger 2
  • Garlic 10 cloves

For Achari Masala:

  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp

Method:

  1. Blend yogurt and coriander leaves in blender and keep it aside.
  2. For onion paste: Grind all ingredients and keep it aside.
  3. For achari masala: Grind all ingredients and keep it aside.
  4. Now heat oil in frying pan, put grinded achari masala, fry for 1 minute, add onion paste and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Then put mutton, mix it and cook more for 10 minutes.
  6. Then add salt, all spice and coriander seeds and mix it.
  7. Also put 1 cup water, cook in pressure cooker for 15 minutes and remove from stove.
  8. Now put yogurt mixture ans stir with spoon.
  9. Then cook until it boils.
  10. Now remove it from stove, give bhagar and serve hot.
