Khara Masala Chicken Rice by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:
- Chicken 1/2 kg
- Rice 1/2 kg
- Potatoes 4
- Onions 2
- Round chilies 10
- Black peppercorns 1 tsp
- Anise star 6
- Cumin 2 tsp
- Fennel seeds 2 tsp
- Cinnamon 1
- Cloves 3-4
- Garlic 1 bunch
- Ginger 1
- Salt 2 tsp
- Tomatoes 6
- Peas 1 cup
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Method:
- Wash chicken, keep in chalni and cook 2 glass water on stove.
- When it boils, put tomatoes, 1 onion, round chilies, black peppercorns, anise star, cumin, fennel seeds, cinnamon, cloves, garlic, ginger and salt and cook it.
- When it boil 1 or 2 times, add chicken and cook for 10 minutes.
- Then strain it and separate stock and chicken.
- Now hat oil in second pan, do 1 onion brown, add potatoes and peas and put 1 cup stock.
- When potatoes tender, put rice and remaining stock and keep on simmer for 10-15 minutes.
