Ingredients:

  • Flour 3-3/4 cup
  • Instant yeast 2 tbsp
  • Caster sugar 3 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Powder milk 4 tbsp
  • Warm water as required
  • Strawberry jam 1/2 cup
  • Oil deep frying
  • Caster sugar 1/2 cup extra
  • Melted butter as required

Method:

  1. Knead soft dough of flour, instant yeast, caster sugar, beaten eggs and melted butter with warm water, cover it and leave it in warm place for 1 hour so that it rises.
  2. Now turn dough, knead more for 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Then roll dough in 1 cm thick.
  4. Now cut dough in round with 2 inch cutter.
  5. Then spread strawberry jam on cookies.
  6. Press remaining pieces with fingers.
  7. Now keep in greased oven tray, cover it and leave for 20 minutes until double.
  8. Press edges again if required.
  9. Now deep fry doughnuts until golden brown.
  10. Then take take its oil, keep on paper and sprinkle extra sugar on top.
