Ingredients:
- Green gram 1 cup
- Sugar 1-1/2 cup
- Khoya 250 gm
- Raisins 1/2 cup
- Pistachio 15
- Almond 15
- Small cardamom 6
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Ghee 1 cup
Method:
- Wash green gram and soak it.
- Also soak raisins in warm water.
- Boil pistachio and almond, peel and chop finely.
- Grind small cardamom with sugar.
- Now drain water of bengal gram, boil in fresh water. Remember it, lentil should be not thick. Then cool it and grind in chopper.
- Heat ghee in karahi pan, put cardamom powder and grinded lentil and roast it nicely.
- Then add sugar. When sugar syrup is made, then put khoya. Together mix few pistachio and raisins.
- Then, grease thaal and spread halwa.
- Put almond and pistachio on top. Decorate with silver paper if you want.
- Moong ki daal ka halwa is ready.
