Dhaba Daal by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Gram lentil 250 gm
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Spinach 1 cup
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 2
  • Crushed chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Soak gram lentil for 3 hours.
  2. Now drain its water and wash with clean water.
  3. Then put it in pan with chili powder, salt, turmeric and spinach, cover it and cook for 45 minutes.
  4. Heat ghee in second pan, fry garlic paste and crushed red chili, put on daal and stir fry until oil comes up.
  5. Then garnish with green chilies and serve.
