Zafrani Kheer by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:
- Milk 2-1/2 kg
- Rice 125 gm
- Sugar 1-1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder 1 tsp
- Saffron 1/2 tsp
- Almonds and pistachio 1/2 cup
Method:
- Cook milk until it boils.
- Now put rice, stir it continuously and cook for 20 minutes until rice tender.
- Then put sugar, cook it continuously until kheer is thick.
- Then add almonds, pistachio, cardamom powder and saffron.
- Now cool it and serve with puri.
