Ingredients:

  • Milk 2-1/2 kg
  • Rice 125 gm
  • Sugar 1-1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Almonds and pistachio 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Cook milk until it boils.
  2. Now put rice, stir it continuously and cook for 20 minutes until rice tender.
  3. Then put sugar, cook it continuously until kheer is thick.
  4. Then add almonds, pistachio, cardamom powder and saffron.
  5. Now cool it and serve with puri.
