Liver Jalfrezi by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Liver 1/2 kg
  • Garlic 3-4 cloves
  • Onions diced 2
  • Crushed dry Kashmiri chillies 2
  • Chopped tomato 1
  • Green chilli chopped 1
  • Finely chopped ginger 1 small piece
  • Cumin powder 2 tsp
  • Curry leaves a few
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Lightly dry roast crushed pepper and cumin seeds on pan and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil, add Kashmiri chillies, diced onions, crushed garlic and green chilli and saute until onions get golden brown.
  3. Add diced liver pieces stir, add diced tomatoes and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add masala roasted earlier and let it cook for few minutes or until liver is cooked.
