Mutton Shorba by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Onion paste 1/2 cup
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Almond paste 1/2 cup
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Gul Khatmay 10 gm
  • White pepper 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon 2 sticks
  • Cloves 4 to 5
  • Small cardamom 4 to 5
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped almond for garnish

Method:

  1. In oil, put cinnamon, cloves and cardamom and roast it.
  2. Then add mutton, roast it nicely.
  3. When water dries, waste whole spice.
  4. Then put onion paste, garlic paste, almond paste, Gul Khatmay, crushed black pepper, white pepper, turmeric powder and salt in meat and roast it nicely.
  5. Now add 1-1/2 jug water and cook on low flame.
  6. When meat tender and gravy becomes thick, dish it out.
  7. Garnish with almond and serve hot.
