Chicken Naryal Pulao by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Fresh coconut 1 cup
  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Green chilies 10
  • Star anise 2 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds 2 tbsp
  • Big cardamom 4
  • Black peppercorn 1 tsp
  • Cumin 2 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Onion 1
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Soak rice for 2 hours.
  2. Now boil 1/4  and keep it aside.
  3. Then heat oil and do onion brown.
  4. Now add chicken and ginger garlic and roast it nicely.
  5. Then put green chilies, cumin, black peppercorn and big cardamom.
  6. Also add 2 glass water and cook it.
  7. When 1 glass water remains, put boiled rice.Then put crushed star anise and fennel seeds.
  8. Keep it on simmer for 10 minutes and close stove.
