Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Green lentil 1 cup
  • Chopped onions 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves few
  • Green chilies 4
  • Tamarind paste 1 cup
  • Roasted cinnamon powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup

Method:

  1. Wash mutton and put in pot.
  2. Also put 2 cup water, chopped onion, turmeric, red chili powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and oil and cook it.
  3. Boil green lentil separate and grind in blender.
  4. When water of meat dries, roast it lightly, put grinded lentil, tamarind paste and green chilies.
  5. When green chilies tender, daalcha is ready.
  6. Now put roasted cinnamon powder and keep on simmer.
  7. Khatta daalcha is ready.
