Sesame Potato Cutlets by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed) 8
  • Bread soaked in a little milk & mashed 4 slices
  • Khatai powder or mango powder 1 tsp
  • Mint leaves chopped 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts pounded coarsely 1/2 cup
  • Beaten egg 1
  • Sesame seeds 1 cup
  • Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Mix and knead all ingredients well except some sesame seeds and oil.
  2. Make small cutlets and dip each cutlet in beaten egg and sesame seeds.
  3. Deep fry till golden, drain on absorbent paper and serve with chutney.
