Shikanjabeen by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Grated ginger 2-inch piece
- Chopped mint leaves a bunch
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Cumin or chat powder (optional) a pinch
- Soda 1 bottle
- Lemon juice of 2 lemons
- Sugar 2 tbsp
Method:
- Grind together grated ginger, mint leaves, cumin powder, lemon juice and sugar.
- Grind till sugar dissolves.
- Strain and add this mixture to jug. Add salt
- After straining, top with soda and ice. Serve chilled.
