Ingredients:

  • Rice 300 gm
  • Jaggery 250 gm
  • Small cardamom 4-5
  • Khoya 1/2 cup
  • Dry fruits 1/2 cup
  • Sliced coconut 1/2 cup
  • Kewra essence few drops
  • Ashrafiyan as required
  • Ghee 1 cup

Method:

  1. Make jaggery syrup.
  2. Boiled dry fruits and peel it.
  3. Clean rice and soak for 2-3 hours.
  4. Then boil rice with kewra essence 1/4.
  5. Heat ghee in pan and roast cardamom.
  6. Then add khoya and roast it.
  7. Now add water as required and rice and cook it.
  8. When rice is nearly cooked, add jaggery syrup, coconut and kewra essence and mix it.
  9. In end, add dry fruits and ashrafiyan and keep on simmer.
  10. When simmer is completed, dish out and serve.
