Ingredients:
For Short Crust Base:
- Butter 4 oz
- Flour 6 oz
- Caster sugar 2 oz
- Vanilla essence few drops
- Egg yolk 1
For Filling:
- Raisin 2 tbsp
- Orange peeled 2 tbsp
- Almonds 2 tbsp
- Glazed cherries 2 tbsp
- Glazed green chilies 2 tbsp
- Currents 2 tbsp
- Pistachio chopped 1 tbsp
- Walnuts chopped 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon 1/4 tsp
- Egg 2
- Jam 3 tbsp
Method:
- For base: Beat butter with caster sugar and vanilla essence until fluffy.
- Add egg yolk and fold in flour.
- Then put mixture on table and knead dough with soft hands.
- Sprinkle flour on table and roll dough.
- Now cut with round cutter and spread on tart tray.
- For filling: Mix all ingredients nicely.
- Then put 1 tbsp mixture on empty tart and bake on 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.
