Ingredients:

  • Potatoes 1/2 kg
  • Tamarind paste 1/2 cup
  • Honey 2 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemons 2
  • Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Oil as required
  • Chopped green chilies 2
  • Chopped mint leaves 1/2 bunch

Method:

  1. Wash potatoes and boil it lightly. Then peel it and make cubes.
  2. Heat oil in karahi pan, fry potatoes cubes until golden brown and take it out.
  3. Put fried potatoes, honey, lemons, tamarind paste, crushed black pepper, red chili flakes, roasted cumin powder and salt in second karahi pan and stir fry it.
  4. When honey becomes caramel, then potatoes are ready.
  5. When serving, put chopped green chilies and chopped mint leaves.
