Bohri White Roast by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Green chilies 6
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Almonds blanched 2 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Whole green chilies 2
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon 1 stick
  • Cloves 4
  • Green cardamom 4
  • Saffron 1/4 tsp
  • Tomato 1

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with green chilies, coriander leaves and salt for 15 minutes.
  2. Now add almonds blanched and yogurt and mix it nicely.
  3. Then heat oil, put onion and ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Now add cinnamon, cloves, green cardamom and marinated chicken and fry it nicely.
  5. Then put 1/2 cup water and cook for 20 minutes until chicken tender and gravy becomes thick.
  6. Then put all spice, whole green chilies, tomato and saffron and serve with boiled eggs.
