Guar Ki Sabzi by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Guar ki phali 1/2 kg
  • Tomato 1
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Tamarind pulp 1/4 cup
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
  • White cumin whole 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion 1

Method:

  1. Heat oil, fry crushed garlic and white cumin with chopped onion and onion is soft.
  2. Now add chopped tomato, chili powder, turmeric and coriander powder and fry it nicely.
  3. Then put guar ki phali and fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Now add 1 cup water, cover it and cook until guar is cooked.
  5. Then put tamarind pulp and sugar, cook for 5 minutes and serve with bajray ki roti.
