Chocolate Chiffon Pie by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Rich tea biscuits 175 gm
  • Unsalted butter 120 gm
  • Plain chocolate 60 gm
  • Cream cheese 400 gm
  • Condensed milk 1 can

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees C/375 degrees F/Gas mark 5.
  2. Place biscuits in food processor and blend till fine crumbs form.
  3. Melt butter and add it to the biscuit crumbs.
  4. In 8-9 inch pie dish, add crumbs and press mixture on bottom and side of dish.
  5. Bake crush for 7-8 minutes.
  6. Cool on wire rack.
  7. Place chocolate in bowl over pan of gently simmering water, stirring often until melted.
  8. Beat cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk with an electric mixer until blended.
  9. Slowly pour melted chocolate.
  10. Beat until smooth.
  11. Pour chocolate mixture into cooled biscuit crust and refrigerate overnight.
