Chicken Corn Pulao by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Cumin crushed 1-1/2 tsp
  • Brown onion 3 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Sweet corn 1 tin
  • Chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Rice 750 gm

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, cumin crushed, brown onion, salt, all spice, chili powder and ginger garlic paste.
  2. Now heat oil, put chicken with all masalay, cover it and cook for 20 minutes so that oil comes up.
  3. Then add soaked rice with 2 cup water, cover it and cook on high flame for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Now cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  5. Then put sweet corn, mix it and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with raita.
