Nauratan Chutney by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Sugar 1 kg
  • Water 3 cups
  • Keri peeled and grated 1 kg
  • Dried dates 15
  • Almonds 3 tbsp
  • Raisins 3 tbsp
  • Melon seeds 1 tbsp
  • Onion seeds 1 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Mix sugar and water and cook syrup for 10 minutes.
  2. Then add remaining ingredients and cook until chutney is thick.
  3. Then take it out, cool it and fill in sterilize bottles.
