Beef Biryani by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:
- Boiled rice 1/2 kg
- Potatoes 3
- Boiled beef 1/2 kg
- Yogurt 250 gm
- Tomatoes 250 gm
- Chopped green chilies 2 tbsp
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Salt 2 tsp
- Red chili flakes 2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Mix all spice 1 tbsp
- Anise star 4
- Nutmeg powder 1/2 tsp
- Mace powder 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala 2 tsp
- Chinese salt 1/2 tsp
- Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Dry apricot 50 gm
- Curry leaves 6
- Green coriander 1/2 bunch
- Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
- Yellow food color 1/2 tsp
- Oil 1 cup
- Fried onion 1 tsp
Method:
- Put 1 cup water, 1/2 cup yogurt, red chili flakes, red chili powder, salt, oil, mix all spice, ginger garlic paste, Chinese salt, nutmeg powder, mace powder and anise star in one pan and mix it.
- Now put in pot, add boiled beef and cook for 10 minutes.
- Then put potatoes and roast it.
- When half tender and spread 1 cup yogurt and yellow food color.
- Put fried onion, tomatoes, dried apricot, green coriander, mint leaves, chaat masala, curry leaves and chopped ginger and put boiled rice.
- Now put 1/2 cup on rice, keep on simmer for 30 minutes and close stove.
