Fried Bread Dahi Waras by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Bread slices 8
  • Whipped yogurt 750 gm
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • White cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chilies 1 tsp

For Bhagar:

  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Whole red chilies 4-6
  • Crushed garlic 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Green coriander for garnish

Method:

  1. Cut bread slices in round shape with cookie cutter. Now deep fry it and soak in water for 10 minutes.
  2. Now press it, drain its water and keep in platter.
  3. Then beat yogurt with milk. Also put salt, garlic paste and white cumin seeds.
  4. Now put mixture in bread slice. Sprinkle chaat masala on each bread circle.
  5. Then put crushed red chilies.
  6. Then put oil, whole red chilies, crushed garlic and cumin seeds.
  7. In end, garnish with green coriander and serve.
