Ingredients:

  • Gram lentil 1 cup
  • Chopped onions 3
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Chopped red chilies 8
  • Dry mango pieces 8
  • Chopped green coriander 1 bunch
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pot, golden brown chopped onions, take out and spread it.
  2. Now wash gram lentil nicely and boil it.
  3. Remember it, lentil tender.
  4. Then drain its water and spread it in one tray.
  5. Then add turmeric, salt, onion seeds, fennel seeds, chopped red chilies, chopped green chilies, dry mango pieces and chopped green coriander.
  6. Then put oil, add half golden onion and ginger garlic paste, roast it lightly and put masala lentil.
  7. Then roast it little, add half onion, keep on simmer for 5-10 minutes and serve fry chanay ki daal with hot hot chapati.
