Ingredients:

  • Chicken/Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Beans 1 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Chopped onions 2
  • Lemons 2
  • Chopped tomatoes 4
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Chopped green coriander as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Boil beans and boil with lukewarm water and salt.
  2. Now heat oil in pot, golden brown chopped onion and take out half onion.
  3. Put chicken or mutton, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric and salt in half onion and cook it.
  4. When water of meat dried, roast it lightly and 1 cup hot water so that meat tender.
  5. Put yogurt, tomato, all spice powder, 2 chopped green chilies and beans after meat tender and roast it.
  6. Now put again 2 cups hot water. When shorba is thick, keep on simmer and put chopped green coriander, 2 chopped green chilies, lemon juice and crushed black pepper.
  7. Put half onion fried and serve hot with chapati.
