Korean Chicken by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
- Soya sauce 1/4 cup
- Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
- Salt 1 pinch
- Black pepper 1/4 tsp
- Green onion 1
- Mined garlic 1 clove
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Caster sugar 1 tbsp
- Spring onion 1 for decoration
Method:
- Mix chicken with soya sauce.
- In pan, heat sesame seeds until they begin to swell up and pop.
- Put seeds in bottom of wooden bowl along with salt.
- Using back of large spoon, crush seeds as finely as possible.
- Add pepper, onion, garlic, oil, sugar and mix.
- Stir chicken and soya sauce into this mixture and let stand for 30 minutes.
- Put chicken in and cover and cook over low heat until chicken is tender.
- If it becomes too dry during the cooking time, add little water.
- Serve sprinkled with chopped greens of spring onion and with boiled rice.
