Kamameshi Rice by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (Strips) 250 grams
  • Japanese rice 2 cups
  • Black mushroom (slice) 1/2 cup
  • Mushroom 5 – 6
  • Chicken stock as required
  • Japanese soya sauce 4 tbsp
  • Garlic (Chopped) 4–5 cloves
  • Chinese salt 1 pinch
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds oil 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut chicken into julienne strips.
  2. Heat oil in pan and fry chopped garlic.
  3. Then add chicken strips and fry.
  4. Now add black mushrooms, Japanese soya sauce, chopped garlic, Chinese salt, salt , sesame seeds oil and chopped mushroom, mix it and cook it.
  5. Add chicken stock and Japanese rice keep and simmer it.
  6. When simmer is completed, dish out rice and serve it.
